| A true classic, “Nickel Silver” covers were discontinued on most Humbuckers in the early 60’s due to the difficulty in polishing this very expensive material. Chrome was substituted and this is when guitarists noticed a deterioration in sound. Nickel covers not only give superior tone and more natural highs, they look great too.
